Brand Recognition
Derived from navigational-tier probe rates — the proportion of navigational prompts (those that explicitly name the brand) where AI platforms correctly identify and describe the brand. A useful floor metric: if brand recognition is low, the brand is not reliably known to AI as an entity, which constrains everything above it. High brand recognition with low category VS indicates the brand is known but not being recommended unprompted. Low brand recognition typically precedes low scores on all VS pillars.
